NEDA VIII hosted the 2019 first quarter Meeting of the NEDA Regional Development Office (MNRDO) on 12 February 2019 at the Oriental Leyte Hotel, Palo, Leyte.

The meeting was attended by Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto M. Pernia, Undersecretary Adoracion M. Navarro, Assistant Secretary Mercedita A. Sombilla, and regional and assistant regional directors from all NEDA Regional Offices.

Among the issues discussed during this quarter’s MNRDO were the NEDA productivity enhancement program, researches to be explored by the regional offices, and capacity-building of the Regional Development Councils (RDCs).

The NEDA RDO team also visited resettlement projects in Tacloban North and the Tide Embankment along Tacloban City-Palo-Tanauan shoreline.
