The Organization of NEDA Employees (ONE) 8 distributed 250 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVRMC) and the Leyte Provincial Hospital (LPH) on 27 May 2020.
The PPEs were donated by the Philippine KOICA Fellows Association, Inc. (PHILKOFA), an alumni association of trainees, fellows, and scholars of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), through the efforts of alumnus Engr. Lorenzo Moron of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), as part of their “Bayanihan Kontra Covid-19” response program to help address the impact of the pandemic.
ONE 8 facilitated the distribution of the PPEs in coordination with the Eastern Visayas Covid-19 Fighters (EVCF) who took care of the shipping cost for the donation.
The donation will help support our frontliners in the region in the continued fight against the pandemic.
