The Regional Development Council VIII – Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RDC VIII-RPMC) trained 118 technical staff from regional line agencies (RLAs) and state universities and colleges (SUCs) on the use of the Eastern Visayas Project Monitoring System (EV-PMS) on 2 March 2022, via Zoom.
Technical staff from RLAs and SUCs were introduced on the recently launched web-based monitoring system and were allowed a hands-on preview of the EV-PMS with guidance from NEDA staff. An added feature of the training was a Reorientation on the RPMES by the NEDA-Project Monitoring and Evaluation Division (PMED). Participants were encouraged to share their user experience and give suggestions on how to improve the system.
The EV-PMS is expected to facilitate the enrollment of projects, submission of up-to date RPMES reports, and identification of problems that impede project implementation.
RLAs and SUCs are expected to start encoding their Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) forms in the EV-PMS beginning this quarter.
Last 23 February, the EV-PMS was successfully launched by the RPMC VIII. The system is still continually undergoing improvements based on feedback from users as more and more regional agencies adopt the system. The system can be accessed at www.evpms.ph.
